Origin and growth
In 1922, Modelmakerij Vormenbouw G De Feyter was founded, a company that specialised in mould construction for the foundry world.
Over the years, the company expanded its field of activity and specialities to the most diverse branches of industries.
In recent years, Tailormold has also expanded its activities to the engineering side of projects, becoming a one-stop shop for your projects.
Tailormold today
Those projects, regardless of complexity, are completed from start to finish by a team of 18 specialised professionals. Here, a healthy mix of young and experienced people constitutes both the company's strength and its future.
Due to the expansion of activities and clients, together with the fact that the De Feyter family had not been involved in the company for some time, the company name was changed to Tailormold in 2021.
The Tailormold name refers not only to our company's main activity, but also to our vision.

Our strategy is based on 3 pillars:

This strategy enables us to provide our customers with the expected quality in a cost-efficient manner, so that they in turn can produce high-quality products.
Every project completed is subjected to a thorough inspection, and if there are any discrepancies, they are closely reviewed.
The results are used to improve our systems and knowledge.
Besides internal audits, periodic audits are carried out by various customers. We are also audited by an external accredited firm to affirm our ISO-9001 compliancy. Tailormold has obtained the ISO9001 certificate (N°BQA_QMS_C_2015584) since January 2015 which allows us to supply to Tier 1 companies.
